Analysis of upstream and downstream industrial chain of acrylic acid

The upstream raw material of acrylic acid is propylene, which is obtained from refinery and ethylene cracking unit. Downstream is mainly used for acrylate and other polyesters. Acrylic acid is mainly used to produce acrylate (resin) in industry, accounting for about 60% of the total consumption of acrylic acid. It is used in construction, papermaking, leather, textile, plastic processing, packaging materials, daily chemical industry, water treatment, oil extraction, metallurgy and other fields. Acrylic acid plays an important role in fine chemical industry. Polypropylene and acrylic acid copolymer produced from acrylic acid are used as dispersant, flocculant and thickener. It has a broad market space in various fields such as daily life and high-tech materials.
